In the 5th episode of What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim Korean Drama, Young Joon messes his date with Ms. Kim when seeing Sung Yeon giving his new book to her. He apologizes to her, and stirs her up. What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim brings us their first kiss, but he pushes away when their lips contact.

Young Joon tells Mi So that it’s line in the childish book, when she stares at him. She gets up from his body awkwardly, and goes to see the boiling water. Then she serves him with a bowl of noodles. He claims he doesn’t like packed food, but he will eat it since it was cooked by her, and praises her noodles. She puts a piece of kimchi on the the noodles, and tells him that it will taste better. He thinks she doubled up the sodium level, but he puts all kimchi into his bowl after tasting it.
He says that he enjoyed the noodles, when she sees him off outside her house. She mocks him that it was packed with chemicals. He says that it’s his first time to eat the food she cooked, she asks him to disinfect and apply ointment on his wound before going to bed. He thanks her, and drives away.
She smiles, and thinks it was his first time to come into her house while cleaning dishes. Mi So is startled when Pil Nam visits her with a bag of foods. Pil Nam sees the bowl which Young Joon used, and hits Mi So after knowing it was her boss. She thinks her younger sister shouldn’t let a man into her house, Mi So claims they just ate ramen together. Pil Nam is shocked, and opens her mouth when her younger sister mentions ramen.

Yoo Sik thinks ramen is a big issue, and tells Young Joon that it means she likes him when a woman asks a man to eat ramen together, and says that ramen means holding hand, and embrace. Young Joon is startled when Yoo Sik embraces himself, and denies, saying that it’s about his cousin’s classmate when he asks him if it’s about Ms. Kim. Yoo Sik picks a candy from desk, and says that he doesn’t have any free time to talk about his cousin’s classmate with him.
Pil Nam thinks Mi So loves her boss, and tells her that they’re not in same level, it’s just like dog and bird, her boss is rich, but she is just average people. She tells her that she doesn’t want her to get hurt. Mi So knows what she means, but she says it’s her problem to deal with.
Sung Yeon is waken up from nightmare in the evening, he called his mom’s name in the nightmare. Ms. Kim gets a call from Young Joon when she is going to head out, she is shocked when he asks her to come out, and finds out that he is waiting outside. She rushes to him, and trips. He picks up her, she says that she is sorry. But he thinks she doesn’t need it. She is shocked, goes to drive him. But he says that he will drive her.
He says that she wore the blouse last Wednesday and Friday, after she gets in his car. She gets angry, and asks him how he remembered it. He claims that his good memory is a burden on him, and gives her a bag with croque-monsieur and cold brew coffee. He asks her to keep the shopping bag, she thanks him with reluctant. He drives after she drank the cold brew coffee.

He asks her to get in first while they stand outside elevator, and steps back with smile when she is behind him. Se Ra asks Young Ok how her looks is, and claims she changed her foundation in the office, while hitting her face. Chi In tells her to check her eyes before applying it, and thinks she has sleep in the eyes. She is shocked after seeing her looks in her mirror, Cheol approaches her from her back, she is startled. Young Joon shows up with Ms. Kim, and says, “Good morning!” Everybody are shocked, Chi In thinks it’s first time he greeted so sweetly, but Se Ra claims he always has been sweet to her. Chi In thinks it’s in her dream. Joon Hwan asks others why he is in a good mood today, everyone look at Ms. Kim. But she says that she doesn’t know.
Young Joon thinks he is perfect, and is equipped with a warm and loving heart after taking off his suits. Ms. Kim comes to him, and asks to apply ointment on his wound. But she asks him if he can apply it himself after they had an eye contact. He says that she can do it for him, she hurts her finger when taking documents. He wants to apply ointment on it, and claims it’s return for the treatment yesterday. He says that he will check documents on the table from now on, and thinks papers are dangerous.
Ms. Kim puts coffee bag in water by mistake, Ji Ah shows up, and thinks Ms. Kim makes mistake as well. Ms. Choi sighs as her sons are in worse terms. Mr. Lee asks her to go shipping outside for limited edition handbag, she tells him to forget it, and says that she bought it last week.

He comes to Sung Yeon when he is sitting in the couch, and asks him when he is going to apologize to his little brother, and tells him that his mother cannot sleep at night because she worried about it. Sung Yeon says he knows it. Mr. Lee leaves, and returns, telling him not to bother Young Joon.
Ji Ah tells Ms. Kim that there is a visitor waiting in the lobby, after she picked up a phone. Ms. Kim sees Sung Yeon in the lobby, and asks him if he is the visitor. He admits. She asks him how he knows her name and the department. He thinks she isn’t glad to see him, she admits, and thinks he was quite rude to ask her number in the clingy way. She says that he is wrong to visit her when she is busy, and asks him to go. He thinks she is too harsh, and says that she sent him a email, and tells her that he is Morpheus.
Ms. Kim tells Sung Yeon that she is a big fan of his books when they have meet at restaurant, but she made the mistake because she hasn’t seen him before. He asks her to eat, and she begins to be allergy to flowers. He asks waiter to remove the vase. She asks him how he know it, he says that she looked around and sniffed her nose, spotting the flowers. She thinks he is a writer, so that he is delicate. She asks him if he read the proposal.
Yoo Sik wants to blame to waiter after knowing there is a stone in Young Joon’s food. But Young Joon stops him. Yoo Sik asks him why he is so generous, Young Joon says that anyone can make mistakes. Yoo Sik laughs, and thinks something good happened to him. Young Joon smiles, Yoo Sik asks him if his college friend and the girl went out. Young Joon says, “not yet!” Yoo Sik thinks his friend doesn’t know how to take action, and is horrible at dating. Young Joon loses his temper, and yells at him, thinking he cannot say that. Yoo Sik asks him why he gets worked up since he only talks about his friend. Young Joon says that he is his close friend, Yoo Sik claims he just feels frustrated. Young Joon says that he will express his feelings soon. Yoo Sik asks him to tell his friend quickly, when he has it in his mind, and reveals girls hate beating around the bush. Young Joon asks him to stop the boring topic, and focus on eating.
Ms. Kim asks Sung Yeon to call her after he makes the decision, when they’re outside the restaurant. He hands over his phone, and asks her to give him her real number. She laughs, and inputs it. Young Joon siting in the couch, and thinks about how to express his feelings. He recalls Ms. Kim wanted an ordinary date, and thinks she likes an ordinary profession as well. He sees Jin Ah working, and comes to her, saying that he has something to ask. But Ms. Kim shows up, asking him if he needs anything. He is startled, and if the opening event goes well. Jin Ah says that the planning team will have a meeting.
Jin Ah asks Ms. Kim if the meet goes well with the visitor, and thinks he is her future boyfriend. Ms. Kim denies, and says that he is someone Jin Ah wants to see. Young Joon runs into Chi In, and asks him if he knows a trendy restaurant ordinary people like. Chi In says that there is a tripe restaurant in Hapjeong, and thinks soju and grilled tripe are perfect match. But Young Joon points out that he needs ordinary but special. Chi In recommends him another restaurant with hear and stomach. Young Joon thinks he only knows animal intestines.
Young Joon comes to Yoo Sik’s office, when Ms. Seol is eating snack. She cleans it when seeing him, and says Yoo Sik is inside. But he isn’t after Young Joon opened the door. She asks him where he went, he says how would I know. He asks her if she knows a trendy restaurant frequented by ordinary people, especially the young women. She laughs, and thinks he has a new girlfriend. He denies, and claims it’s about a franchise business. She shows him a photo of spicy chicken feet, he doesn’t like the idea. She comes up with the spicy pork trotters.
He runs into Cheol, and asks him if he knows any restaurant favored by women. But he thinks Cheol doesn’t know it when he wants to say something. Se Ra thinks Young Joon is handsome when visiting Jin Ah while looking at him through the window. Ms. Kim looks at him as well, but she moves her head, when Se Ra is staring at her. Se Ra asks Ms. Kim if she thinks the vice chairman is sexy too. Ms. Kim isn’t sure about it as she sees him every day.
Young Joon finds a good place to date Ms. Kim after searching on internet, and thinks it’s perfect. Jin Ah suspects Gwi Nam not to have 10 of the exact same suits after seeing the white spot on his suits which she saw yesterday. She picks a button he left from his suits, Se Ra takes it and thinks she has reason to ask him out for dinner. Jin Ah thinks she should give it to him now, and reveals he only has one suit. Se Ra gets angry, and asks her why she always badmouths him. But Jin Ah says that she just tells the fact. Se Ra thinks she isn’t a detective, and takes the button away.
Ms. Kim thinks suit isn’t important when Jin Ah and Se Ra are arguing. Se Ra agrees, and reveals Ms. Kim wore the same blouse last Wednesday and Friday. Ms. Kim recalls Young Joon said same words, Jin Ah adds that she wore on Thursday two weeks ago as well. Ms. Kim stops them, and thinks they care about clothes, and ignores her necklace.
Young Joon asks Ms. Kim to have a glass of wine together at 8 PM, and says that he has something to tell her. She is nervous, and says that she will make a reservation. But he tells her that he already made the reservation. She is shocked, and very happy.
Ms. Kim wants to try on the dress when she is in the clothes shop, but the salesgirl tells her that they’re sold out of size 44, and thinks she can place a special order. But Ms. Kim says that she needs it right now. The salesgirl thinks she has a date. Ms. Kim is nervous, and says that she will picks something else.
She wears her new dress, and walks in lounge of M Hotel. Sung Yeon calls her, and asks for a meet, but she claims she has plans this evening. He says that he is going to give her his answer, and reveals he will change his mind if they don’t meet up now. She accepts it, but claims she doesn’t have too much time.
The waiter shows the limited edition champagne to Young Joon when he is siting at restaurant. Young Joon asks the waiter to bring it out later with the cake, and says that she is the only woman getting an honest, genuine profession from him.
Sung Yeon says that Ms. Kim is pretty, and thinks she is going to date someone after she showed up at the M Hotel. She tells him that she doesn’t have too much time, and asks him if he made the decision. He says that he decides to trust her and do it. She is very happy, and thanks him. He gives her his new book “Once in a Lifetime”, and reveals there is his autograph inside. Just then Young Joon shows up, and returns the book to Sung Yeon from her hand.
Young Joon takes her inside the restaurant, she asks him to explain the situation. But he asks her to explain it first. She tells him that Sung Yeon is the famous author she invited to opening event, but he asks her to stop it. She asks him for the reason, he thinks he doesn’t have to explain everything to her, and says he doesn’t like her idea. She asks him to tell it to her next time since he had something to tell her. He agrees, and says that it isn’t important. She leaves with temper.
She got her feet hurt after returning home. Young Joon asks Sung Yen what he wants, Sung Yeon claims he just wants to help company, and reveals Ms. Kim thought his involvement help the company. Sung Yeon asks his younger brother if he fears him to take her from him. Young Joon denies, and thinks Sung Yeon can do nothing.
Young Joon wants to text message to Ms. Kim, but he gives up. He shows up at office, Se Ra greets him, but he ignores it. She asks others what the matter, Chi In rushes to the office, and tells everyone that Morpheus in invited to their opening event. Ms. Kim asks him where he got the rumors, he tells him Young Joon ordered PR team to do it.
She comes to Young Joon’s office, and asks him why he changed his mind. He looks at her, she realizes that he doesn’t have to tell her everything, and says that she thinks he actually means it when he asked her to date and marry him. She asks him not to confuse her anymore, and leaves his office.
Jin Ah tells Se Ra that Gwi Nam’s suit must be missing button since it dropped off. But Gwi Nam shows up, and shows the suits without missing button with a spare button, and asks them not to spread his false rumors. Young Joon pretends that his head hurts, she asks Dr. Choi to visit him. But he says that it’s not that bad. He looses his tie, and asks her to fix it, but she ignores it.
Chi In tells Ms. Kim that Morpheus is Young Joon’s elder brother, she recalls he isn’t in good terms with his elder brother. Yoo Sik tells Young Joon that he will lose Ms. Kim if he doesn’t say sorry. Young Joon says sorry to her when they runs into. She thinks he has a reason to do that, and reveals she wants to help him. He slows his speed when he walks her, she smiles.
He tells her that he could not work because he was bothered by her when they stay together in his office. She is nervous, and asks him if he needs coffee. But he says that he has it, and claims he wants to stir her up. He approaches him, and wants to kiss her. But he pushes her away when their lips touch. She gets angry after being pushed to another side.
